Direct impact and momentum transfer tests fall outside of most conventional Split Hopkinson Pressure Bar methods. Our Direct Impact System can be configured in a variety of ways to meet the exacting requirements for generating impact events. The bar accelerator, speed sensor, camera integration, and test setups mounted on the REL Flat Base open the possibilities for complex and dynamic test setups.
