REL’s MLF 250 is the toughest, most space efficient, and most conformable FPI system on the planet.
The human-driven Model MLF 250 fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI) system is precision engineered and manufactured to meet mission-critical requirements for the US Navy. The MLF 250 has the highest space efficiency commercially available with a part volume per footprint area ratio PV/FA=1.12.
In a Method D configuration, the MLF 250 can process shafts up to 4’ in length with a machine footprint of 11’ to comply with the standards set forth in MIL-STD-810G for Impact, Vibration, Acceleration, and Extreme Environmental Testing. It is now available to be purchased by any branch of the armed forces as well as private industry. The system can be configured for any, and multiple, FPI methods with 3, 4, 5, or more stations.
