REL Delivers Custom Magnetic Particle Inspection Booth to US Air Force

REL delivered a dual Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI) processing booth to the United States Air Force. REL designed the booths to perform Head Shots and Coil Shots by the press of a button! This PNEMO-E-SLIDE power switch technology minimizes operator strain during operation to increase operator safety. Lift assist devices are also included in the cell to minimize reach and lifting strain during operation. The 3 degree of freedom stand allows for the fixed placement of parts while electrically adjusting for varying ergonomic heights demanded by different operators and large part envelopes.
